Steve Hamlet, Head of Sales

Steve Hamlet joined the company in 2007 in the newly created role of Head of Sales, reporting to David Lovell the Sales and Marketing Director.

Steve will be responsible for strategy and business development of the company’s proprietary databases, namely the Matrix Intermediary Database and the Matrix Investor Database. His remit is to rapidly expand the business in the UK data market by product development, online services and new sectors.

Before joining Matrix-Data Solutions, Steve Hamlet was the Sales Director at IPT Financial. Employed there from 2006, he was responsible for managing a team of 12 people generating revenue in excess of £4.8million through affiliate websites and data sales. He was key in the development and launch of new websites and the expansion of the business into new sectors. His financial website portfolio included www.everyinvestor.co.uk, www.mypropertyspy.co.uk and www.smart-quotes.com .

From 1995 to 2005 Steve was the Group Sales Manager at Charterhouse Communications accountable for eight financial consumer titles including What Investment, Personal Finance Magazine and Investment International.
