Ian Beaumont, Chief Executive Officer

Ian Beaumont joined Matrix-Data Ltd as Managing Director in December 2003. Under his leadership Matrix has introduced a range of strategic data solutions across the financial sector. Focusing on customer intelligence and channel insight, Matrix has developed a reputation for delivering high quality data and analysis, which empowers the decision makers within organisations to make informed business decisions.

Ian is actively involved in the strategic and operational management of the business, as well as the development of new products and services that meet the needs of our clients.

He was previously a Principal at SPARK Ventures plc, a quoted early stage venture capital company, where he managed a number of SPARK’s telecoms, software and semiconductor investments. He has also previously founded, grown and sold an internet based business meeting the financial and servicing requirements of expats moving to the UK. Prior to that he was an Investment Banker at JP Morgan Chase specialising in debt origination and syndication where he started in the graduate training programme.

Ian became Chief Executive Officer in 2010 following the successful acquisition of Rhetorik Ltd and the company's relaunch as a full service Business Intelligence agency.

Ian has a first class honours degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bristol University and his interests include sailing, golf and tennis.
