Matrix Data completes 2009 Top 100 IFA data acquisition for Financial Adviser Magazine

We have just started compiling the entries for the Financial Adviser Top 100 IFAs survey, following last week’s submission deadline. It’s the 9th year that Matrix has been the preferred partner for this important survey, and this year has given rise to our most advanced research methodology to date. Data acquisition began back in July with a series of online and offline surveys out to the top 600 IFAs.  This was then followed up with a co-ordinated telephone follow up call handled by the research division of our newly acquired company, Rhetorik.

Rick Paskins, head of research and MD of Rhetorik said:  "We began a structured telephone interviewing process at the start of August and are pleased to report that response rates and overall accuracy of the data collected were both substantially improved”.

The results are being published in a dedicated section of Financial Adviser magazine at the end of October, and will be supported by a regional results rankings on the Matrix website.
