Record number of registrations on mylocaladviser.co.uk in November

MyLocalAdviser.co.uk, the free online financial adviser directory powered by Matrix-Data Solutions, saw a record 1,300 financial advisers register their details onto the site in November. In addition, several hundred existing registrants have updated their entries. The website was relaunched and upgraded in a number of ways in late October, and the advisers seem to like it!

MyLocalAdviser.co.uk is completely free to both the consumer and the financial advisers: we do not charge for enhanced listings or the resultant leads. There are basic directory listings for nearly all financial adviser firms, based on information that we hold within the Matrix Financial Intermediary Database, but the search results automatically bring back firms with the most detailed profiles on top, so it is in their best interest to ensure their profiles are accurate and up-to-date.

New registrants are encouraged to provide contact information as well as details of their qualifications and business areas. This information is cross-checked against the FSA register before being uploaded to the site to ensure peace of mind for consumers.
